WBD man on bail for negligent use of fire

Richard Singh, 28, of 82 Two Brothers, Canal Number One Polder, West Bank Demerara, was on Thursday placed on ,000 bail following a charge of negligent use of fire.
It was alleged that on March 10, 2016, at Canal Number One Polder, the fire he lit caused the damage of property belonging to Steve Narine.
At his appearance before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Wales Magistrate Court, the field labourer entered a not guilty plea and was granted bail privilege.
The defendant told the court that he has no prior offences, and will make his next court appearance set for September 19.
