Coming up against the number one side in the Association, the Pouderoyen lads prevailed 3-2 in an exciting final to lift the Trophy Stall-donated winners’ trophy. There were no cash prizes as the newly- elected WDFA Executive, led by Trevor Williams and Secretary Adrian Giddings, decided to pull off the tournament to give clubs the chance to get back into competitive mode.
Scoring for Pouderoyen were Dwain St Kitts in the 10th minute, Chidi Matthews in the 40th minute, and Telelen Adolph, one minute later. Eagles got their goals from Nashawn Livan in the 20th minute and Daniel Clark in the 60th minute.
The other teams that competed were Uitvlugt Warriors, Bell West, Crane Rovers, and Wales.
