9 to compete for Wedding House DJ Competition at XS Bar & Lounge this Saturday 
The XS Bar and Lounge, Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara will come alive on Saturday evening as nine talented and versatile DJs compete for top honours in the first ever “Wedding House” DJ Competition. This one of kind event is promoted by Team MMR.
The DJs competing are DJ Danny, Sheik, Steve, Addi and Chino out of West Coast Demerara; DJ Cyanide and Omesh out of East Coast Demerara; Selector Charlie out of Georgetown and all the way from Berbice, DJ King.
These young men will undoubtedly transform the Lounge into a “wedding house” atmosphere with some of the best juggling on the console.
Each DJ will have at least 20 minutes to deliver their ‘A-game’ by dishing out some of the best wedding house tunes from all genres from yesteryear to present.
In this competition, there are no judges. Those in attendance will have the ultimate say as to who is the best DJ at the end of the night. The winner of the competition is expected to walk away with $75,000 in cash and other prizes.
Apart from the competition, Party Boss WR Reaz and Selector Andy will set the tone for a highly-competitive event.
The action is expected to get underway at 21:00h, but the doors will be opened from 19:00h. The event is made possible by Bacardi, Red Club Smoke Shop, Chand Printing Service and Power Tech Sound Company.
