Home Sports West Indies in Australia for 2-Test series
The West Indies team touched down in Adelaide, Australia on Friday evening, ahead of their 2-match Test Series starting next month.
The 15-man Caribbean side is again led by Kraigg Braithwaite, with Alzarri Joseph being new vice-captain. Five Guyanese are in the team: Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Gudakesh Motie, Kevin Sinclair, Tevin Imlach and Shamar Joseph; the latter three being uncapped players.
Their first assignment Down Under is a preparation camp which will run from January 2-9, after which they will play a 4-day warm-up match from January 10-13 against a Cricket Australia XI. 17-21 January: 1st Test at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide
(15-20 January, 7:30pm Eastern Caribbean/6:30pm Jamaica)
25-29 January: 2nd Test at the Gabba, Brisbane
(24-28 January, 12 midnight Eastern Caribbean/11pm Jamaica)
