The highly anticipated Westside Auto Expo 5 which was billed for the Leonora Stadium on July 2 has been postponed until August 27 due to unforeseen circumstances. However, organisers announced that tickets purchased for the event are still valid.
As promised, the event will be one of Guyana’s biggest car and bike show and vehicle sound off to be held on the Westside. Vehicle lovers are urged not to be heartbroken, since the delay will give the organisers more time to get the vehicles ready for the big day. These vehicles will compete for Graphic, Airbrush, Best Rims, Lights, as well as the Biggest Vehicle Sound Off.
The Avengers, Red Jet, Dark Siderz, Wreaker, Star Cars, TRex, Xclusive and Massive are among the showstoppers that would have already confirmed their participate in the event.
However, for the first time, the competition will see vehicles being judged in over 35 categories including best graphics; best lights; best interior; best theme; best antique; best air brush; best motor bike; best technician; cleanest engine; cleanest vehicle; best looking sound; lowest vehicle; best rims; biggest vehicle group; bus with the most girls; cleanest hire car and the cleanest working bus.
Admission to the event remains at $1000 in advance and $1500 at the gate, while vehicle passes will be available for $1000.
