The Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel is expected to be on fire on Sunday evening as 10 of Guyana’s most beautiful and intelligent young ladies take the spotlight as they compete for the title of Miss World Guyana 2017.
The 10 delegates representing each Administrative Region underwent intense training and several preliminary competitions. From all indications, they are ready to hit the stage. 
On pageant night, the delegates will have a chance to impress a qualified line-up of judges in several segments, including intelligence and evening gown.
The finalists vying for the Miss World Guyana 2017 title and the amazing opportunity to represent Guyana in China come November are: Miss Region One Delisha Wright, Miss Region Two Sharda Pramdeo, Miss Region Three Hemwantie Seodat, Miss Region Four Vena Mookram, Miss Region Five Joelly Valentine, Miss Region Six Thamesha Watson, Miss Region Seven Ariell Basdeo, Miss Region Eight Crystal Wills, Miss Region Nine Manisha Wong and Miss Region 10 Nitifah Thompson.
Tickets are available at GTT offices, Cara Lodge and John Lewis Styles, and cost $7500 for standard seating and $12,000 for VIP (inclusive of VIP cocktail hour).
