Woman collapses, dies at APNU/AFC rally

A 66-year-old woman collapsed and died at the A Partnership for National Unity/Alliance for Change rally at Hopetown, Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice) on Wednesday.
Dead is Shandraine Mc Donald. Reports are after Mc Donald collapsed, she was rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Speaking with this publication, the dead woman’s daughter-in-law said that she was told that her mother-in-law went to the rally. She said that at about 18:00h, she received a telephone call that she collapsed at the function. She said she was later told that Mc Donald had died. The daughter-in-law added that the family is still trying to ascertain what occurred and information is limited. She advised that this publication call at a later time to speak to Mc Donald’s son for more details.
