All the sponsors associated with the 2nd annual Guinness ‘Cage’ Street ball Championship have come on board in terms of delivering on their commitments as the tournament approaches its final leg on Friday, September 7.

Woodpecker Trophies and Sports, of Fourth Street, Alberttown, Georgetown, have also continued their loyal support of this tournament by providing the fourth place trophy.
At a simple presentation ceremony held at the company’s Alberttown location, Woodpecker Trophies and Sports delivered as expected.
Loreann Baptiste, representative of the Three Peat organisation, has said the promotional group is grateful for the continuous support of Woodpecker Trophies and Sports, and the company’s gesture will help make the tournament a success. Baptiste also said the company has been very supportive of the country’s sporting culture, and the coordinators of this tournament are striving to achieve a similar status on these local shores.
This tournament has been dubbed “East Coast versus the Rest”. It is currently being contested at the Haslington Market Tarmac.
The semi-final matchups will see home side Uprising taking on Broad Street, and the experienced side Sparta Boss going head-to-head with Leopold Street.
The victors of each match will face off in the finale, while the losers will play in the third-place playoff.
