The Demerara Cricket Board has named a strong 18- man squad to represent its county in the 2017 GCB/Hand -In-Hand Under-19 Inter County Three (3) Days and One Day 50 Overs Tournaments. The squad includes Guyana Jaguars and West Indies Under-19 player Bhaskar Yadram who will captain the side.
In addition, West Indies Under-19 selectee and wicketkeeper/batsman Joshua Persaud is expected to offer valuable support along with the experienced Vice captain Ronaldo Ali-Mohamed.
The tournament was initially set to begin this week but the inclement weather forced its postponement to possibly next Monday.
