The Guyana Darts Association (GDA) held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday evening at the Maltenoes Sports Club (MSC), Thomas Land, where Sheik Yassin was elected as the new President.
Yassin replaces Jawan Buphan and will have Dr Terrance Joseph as Vice-President, Mary Correia (Secretary), Sudesh Fitzgerald (Treasurer), Michael Fenty

Yassin said that he is looking forward to gathering more support for the sport, adding that sponsors are critically needed for the sport to grow locally.
Later today at MSC, the association will be hosting a Novices tournament from 19:00h, where all are invited.
