Young footballer gets scholarship to attend St Jago High School in Jamaica

As possibilities for young males to play and study in a sports-centric atmosphere continue to emerge, Guyanese youth continue to be favoured in this respect. Seon Cato has been awarded a scholarship to play for St. Jago High School in Spanish Town, Jamaica; not only to play, but also to continue his education at the CAPE Level.
Cato departed the land of Many Waters on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 for Jamaica.
The scholarships given to these players are full two-year scholarships, which will include school fees, textbooks, additional tuition assistance, medical monitoring, boarding, and meals.
Seon Cato managed to perform outstandingly to lead his team to second place in the ninth Milo Schools Under-18 Football tournament against Champions Santa Rosa Secondary.
Seon will be joined by young footballers like Kvist Paul and Matrim Martin, who will be attending Kingston College; and Jaleel Alcindor, who has been given a scholarship to attend MICO University to study on a full scholarship and represent the institution at the college level.
