The 10th edition of the theatrical production, “Nothing to Laugh About” is set for June 2-5 at the National Cultural Centre.
This show is deemed one of the biggest comedy shows currently in Guyana and it is back this time around to “tear-up” the National Cultural Centre.
This year the show is directed by Kojo McPherson and Maria Benschop and has an all-star cast, including Michael Ignatius, Lyndon “Jumbie” Jones, Kirwyn Mars, Leza “Radika” Singh, Clemencio Goddette, Chris Gopaul, Mark “Chine Man” Kazim, Leon Cummings, Johann David, Simone Persaud, Gerard Gilkes, Mark Luke-Edwards, Brian Goodman and Zoya Moore.
For the first time, the production team has added to the line-up a phenomenal actress who will definitely have the crowd roaring with laughter. Marissa Morgan is no stranger to Guyana, as she is one of the hosts of Guyana Today and has been in a number of plays.
Tickets for the show cost 00, 00 and 00 and can be purchased at the National Cultural Centre Box Office, Giftland Mall, Nigel’s Supermarket, Payless Variety Store, Gizmos and Gadgets and Elegance Jewellery and Pawn Shop.
The show has never disappointed its audiences and promises to stay true to that reputation. As usual, the show will straddle all the divides; be it politics, race or religion. It is a show that is not afraid to push the boundaries and that is probably why it is the most anticipated show every single year.
Patrons are advised to be on time as the show will begin at 20:00h sharp.
