Karasabai Village, Region Nine (Upper Takatu-Upper Essequibo) has been affected by strong winds that have resulted in the destruction of approximately 11 homes.

In a post on social media the office of the Regional Executive Officer said that it has dispatched a team to assess the extent of the damage and determine the necessary support for affected residents.
