Twelve persons were treated for minor injuries after the minibus in which they were travelling toppled at Long Creek, Linden-Soesdyke Highway on Friday.

This newspaper was told that the Route 43 minibus was at the time transporting footballers from Linden to Georgetown when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Following the accident, the injured persons were transported to the Linden Hospital Complex for medical attention. This newspaper was told that no one suffered major injuries.
