Home Sports 16 teams vying for Hamilton Green K/O Football Title
The Hamilton Green Knockout Football tournament will continue on Wednesday, August 30 with a double header at the McKenzie Sports Club Ground in Linden.
After starting with 24 teams, the opening fixtures have seen the exit of 6 teams thus far with two more set to depart on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Silver Shatters face off with Plaisance at 19:00hrs for a chance to progress to the next round, while Eagles United will try to claw their way past Kuru Kuru at 21:00hrs. Both games would being played at the McKenzie Sports Club Ground.
The second round will begin on Friday, September 1 at the same venue with local boys Winners Connection clashing with Georgetown- based side Riddim Squad at 19:00hrs.
After that matchup, Mile Rock will face Georgetown Football Club at 21:00hrs.
The teams are playing for total prize money of Million with the winners pocketing 0,000 and a Ministry of Citizenship Trophy while the runner-up will receive 0,000 and a Trophy from Busta.
Third and Fourth place will walk away with 0,000 and 0,000 respectively in addition to trophies.
