The primary purpose of the outreach was to provide medical assistance to the community and surrounding area in general.
The residents who attended the outreach were able to have their blood pressure and glucose levels tested, and access to mental health and eye care, with medical advice from general and specialty doctors.
Despite the gloomy weather, the medical team was able to provide care to over two hundred fifty persons inclusive of children, the elderly, and the differently able.
Along with the medical care provided, the residents present were issued with packages that catered for basic daily necessities, inclusive of disinfectant wipes, face masks, clothing, and diapers (both children and adults) and provision of over the counter and prescription medication.
