GTT, in partnership with Fly Jamaica Airlines, on Thursday showered three lucky customers with eye-catching prizes following the draw of its Top Up and Win Promotion. One couple cashed in on an all-inclusive trip to Jamaica, while two others received consolation prizes of GTT handsets.
The two-week promotion, which came to an end on April 18, encouraged customers to recharge their mobile accounts, with each top-up of a $1000 giving them a chance to enter this grand lottery. Subscribers eagerly grabbed at this promotion for the opportunity to be rewarded with a trip to the homeland of exotic beaches and reggae music.

Cashing in on the top prize was George Mahase of Dowding Street, Kitty, who won himself and his wife, a four-day, three-night all-inclusive trip to Jamaica, compliments of Fly Jamaica. Also benefiting from this Promotion were Paul Fernandes of Lamaha Street, Kitty and Bibi Khan of East Bank Berbice. Fernandes and Khan both won themselves a trendy Samsung S7 Edge handset.
The drawing took place on Wednesday with the presentation of the prizes being done on Thursday at the GTT Blackberry Store on Brickdam, Georgetown. Staff of GTT and organisers of this Promotion surprised the lucky winners by showing up at their homes to inform them of their winning. This was with the exception of Khan who will be presented with her prize on a special visit to Berbice slated for Friday.
Given the success of the Promotion, another phase is already under way, which will conclude on Mother’s Day.
