Thirty-year-old Dwayne Coppin has been remanded on Wednesday after pleading guilty to the charge of possession of firearm and ammunition without licence.
The accused appeared before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce at Mahdia Magistrate’s Court via Zoom.

Coppin was arrested on Sunday last with one black 9mm Glock 19 pistol and 9 matching live rounds of ammunition. After entering a guilty plea, he attempted to offer an explanation, but was sent to prison until October 20, 2021 for sentencing.
