The Guyana Police Force (GPF) announced today that it has received legal advice to institute charges against four persons who are in custody for the murder of 17-year-old Haresh Singh.
Singh was found murdered and his motorcycle burnt in the Number Three backdam, West Coast Berbice, on September 9, 2020.
Police recently made the breakthrough in the case, with at least one of the suspects allegedly confessing to the brutal murder of the young man.
It was widely suspected that Singh’s murder was in retaliation of the murders of 16-year-old Isaiah Henry and 19-year-old Joel Henry, whose badly mutilated bodies were found in the backlands of Cotton Tree, WCD.
