Nine delegates from various villages along the East Coast Demerara corridor are contending for the title of “Beauty with a Mission” in a pageant that is set for staging on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Buxton Community Centre Ground.
The delegates have already been sashed, and their introduction segment has been completed, but scores are to be revealed on the night of the grand coronation. Those scores will be added to those from the Evening Gown, Swim Suit, Talent and Costume segments of the pageant which will be done on coronation night.
The person crowned queen would be awarded $500,000 cash, while the person placing second would be awarded $300,000 and the person placing third would be awarded $100,000.
General admission to the grand coronation costs $3000; the VIP experience costs $10,000.
