The Eagles team bowed out of the Under-23 division of the Georgetown Amateur Basketball (GABA) League in what can be classified as one of the most unfortunate ways of losing as they settled for fourth place in the tournament.
Following a successful season in the preliminary stages of the tournament, the Eagles had a few hiccups that resulted in them not qualifying, after they were tipped to take the Under-23 division.
Speaking with Guyana Times Sport, Eagles Coach Courtenay Taylor stated that he was disheartened that his side did not make the final as he believed they should.
