“A taste of South America” for Georgetown Club on Sunday

The Georgetown Club, Camp Street, will come alive on Sunday, May 21 as the Rotary Club of Georgetown hosts “A taste of South America”. It will be an evening of good food, wine and beer.
The event is an annual feature for the Non-Governmental Organisation and has been lifting the bar on a yearly basis. This year, patrons can enjoy food, wine and a variety of beer from several South American countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Suriname, Peru and obviously Guyana.
Tickets for the event cost $2000 but patrons will have a chance to sample everything there is to offer on the day of the event. The action gets underway at 12:00h and apart from the food, wine and beer, there will be a variety of music to tantalise your dancing buds. All proceeds will go towards the Literacy Project – Book Mobile.
