Although Guyana’s soca sensation and former members of the X2 Group, Adrian Dutchin now resides in the United States with his family, he has been creating quite a stir on the airwaves here in Guyana and further afield.

He has been releasing music on a regular basis with his Guyanese fans in mind. Even though he wanted to come home for Guyana 49th Republic anniversary celebrations, he has done his part as a patriot of this lovely country. The father of two recently released a brand new track in time for Mashramani titled “Liar”.
The song was written by him and recorded in the Kode 784 Studio in New York. It was produced by Ari Badur of Iceland. This is one of the biggest tunes Dutchin has recorded since he migrated to the US and it has been loved by his fans.
This soca song is definitely one that reminds Guyanese of the real Dutchin; full of energy and vibes. Reflecting on his musical career over the past years, he thinks recoding music in Guyana was fun, while at the same time related that music was of a high quality.
A family would mean responsibilities and less time to do what you like but for the Guyanese singer, he has managed the art of balancing his music interests and his personal life. Performing at various venues in the US has definitely added the icing on the cake, since most of the events he has performed at were attended by Guyanese who can relate to him and his music.
