“Afternoon Delight, Tea and Fashion” for New Thriving Restaurant on April 8

Guyanese fashion icon, Sonia Noel, fresh from the Women in Business Expo, is teaming up with the New Thriving Restaurant to launch an event themed “Afternoon Delight, Tea and Fashion”, at their Providence, East Bank Demerara (EBD) location. The recently opened New Thriving Providence location is embarking on several promotional ventures to market their new enterprise.
New Thriving recently hosted afternoon tea for in recognition of International Women’s Day – March 8 – for ladies to sampling the variety of teas, cakes, sandwiches and pastries. One of the objectives was to decide the menu for the launch of Afternoon Delight.
Sonia Noel, renowned fashion icon in the Caribbean and in the Diaspora, will be taking the stage to display her most recent line. As prom season approaches, Sonia will be releasing a collection that caters to the pre-adults who will be graduating soon and celebrating their prom in full glitz and glamour.
This event is perfect for friends, mothers and daughters to have a relaxing time while enjoying delicious delicacies in an amazing atmosphere.
Apart from the prom fashion show, which will also feature pieces from Paula Evans, Sears Style and Beads of Elegance, there will be other attractions, such as make-up and tips and product lines from Le Cosmetiques by Niketa, Henna Designs from Natasha Azeez, and Beads of Elegance Jewellery from Fiona Northe Graham. Songbird Mariam Cor?lette Williams will also be present at the event to add that touch of class with her performance.
The elegant event is set for April 8, at the new Massy Complex in Providence, EBD. After the launch of Afternoon Delight, there will be a daily feature between 15:00h to 17:00h.
Tickets cost $1500 and can be uplifted at the New Thriving Restaurant, and the Makin’ Style Boutique in the Courtyard Mall, Robb Street, Georgetown.
