Annandale Secondary bag KFC Tape-ball championship

Annandale Secondary romped to yet another tape-ball tournament victory after they defeated Patentia Secondary School to win the KFC-sponsored Inter- Secondary Schools ‘Super 6 Overs’ tape- ball cricket competition.
This tape-ball tournament, which saw participation from 19 secondary schools drawn from across the country, bowled off on Saturday 6th April 2019 on the D’Urban Park tarmac in Georgetown.

In the semifinal round, Annandale Secondary trounced L.B.I Secondary, while Patentia Secondary enjoyed a commanding victory over Hope Secondary in order to book their respective spots in the final.
When the final game concluded, the KFC Championship Trophy and medals were presented to the winners, Annandale Secondary; while Patentia Secondary received the runners-up trophy.
Ryan Wong of L.B.I Secondary, Ganesh Persaud of Patentia Secondary, and Chanderpaul Ranraj of Annandale Secondary were all presented with special prizes for their individual outstanding performances in the competition.
