Apology

Dear Editor:

I made a mistake with the name of the leader of the United Force party in my last Sunday column, “Are We Celebrating Failure?” The UF leader was Peter D’Aguiar and not Fred D’Aguiar as I stated. I apologise for the mistake.

Fred D’Aguiar is, of course, a writer. He has won the Guyana Prize four times.
