B52 releases ‘Hype Master’ in time for carnival

Previously known as “Lil Man”, Wilbur Levans now called “B52” has released his newest single titled “Hype Master”, just in time for Guyana’s Carnival. The song was written by the artiste and was produced by Burchmore Simon out of Kross Kolor Records. The song was recorded a few months ago in the Sound Green Studio but was only ready for release last week.
The singer who is presently on an overseas gig told Guyana Times Entertainment that the song was created with the aim of giving Guyanese the soca experience for carnival. The song tells a story of a boring party that is being hyped up by a few people who can be described as hype masters.
Since its release, the artiste has been receiving great reviews and hopes that during his short vacation in Guyana, people can relate to it.
He returns to his overseas gig on Saturday and is expected to return to Guyana in December. Although he will be performing on cruise liners, he intends to release his album, “Light it up” in a few weeks’ time. The album will comprise several genre of music ranging from soca to hip hop and R&B.
