Balkisshun’s ton headlines Demerara win

Demerara stormed to a massive 178-run win over Bladen Hall on Wednesday when the Regional Democratic Council (RDC)/DEVCON/Lloyd Britton/Regional Executive Officer (REO) Inter- Secondary School Cricket Competition continued.
Batting first at the Everest Ground, Demerara chalked up 215 all out with P Balkisshun slamming a majestic 139 from just 80 balls with 18 fours and four sixes. K Sutton (5-27) and S Yaw (3-32) were the outstanding bowlers for Bladen Hall.
It was a nightmare start for Bladen Hall, who could not get out of the blocks and were mowed down for 37 all out , with A Thomas the top-scorer with 8 as S Cudjoe sliced through the batting line-up to end with figures of 6-23 while P Armorgan grabbed 2-0.
