Christmas is definitely in the air and some of the main features around this time of year are the food, décor, and the children visiting Santa Claus among others. For the second time around, Banks DIH is doing again but much bigger and with more excitement. Come this Saturday and Sunday, the beverage company will host its second annual Santa’s Enchanted Christmas Village at Demerara Park.
Already, preparations are moving apace to create that suitable environment that will leave children breathless. The décor is expected to be amazing with a few new features that will definitely add that special touch to make the area especially festive but more so, one that will be talked about for a long time.
Apart from meeting and greeting Santa and Mrs Claus, the children will have an opportunity to snap a photo with them and receive presents. In addition, the children can have fun with the cartoon characters in attendance, as well as on the bouncy castle and trampoline. There will also be a story corner, food, drinks and ice-cream bars. Face painting will also be done on site.
Tickets to see Santa cost $500 (gift is included). Admission for adults is $500. Tickets are available at all Quick Serve outlets – Stabroek, Main and Camp Streets). The action gets underway at 15:00h on both days.
