Hundreds of residents from East Berbice-Corentyne attended the inaugural Banks DIH Limited “Relationship Festival”.
The two-day festival was held on November 25 and 26 on the Corentyne and at Rose Hall/Canje.
Banks DIH Chairman and Managing Director Clifford Reis, at the cocktail reception for business leaders and key stakeholders, said in fulfilling the “Passion for Excellence”, we must build on teamwork, coordination, cooperation and maximise our efforts for the end result.
“We are in Berbice because we want to hear from you, so that we can better understand your needs and look at ways of strengthening our relationship,” Reis added.
He further noted that the company continues to build on its relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, suppliers and employees.
“Our mission is clear, but we must embrace the understanding of corporate governance and the adherence to morality and value systems which are visibly practised.”
The Relationship Festival took the form of an exhibition of the company’s products, cultural presentations and a children’s play park.
Residents were treated to samples of the newly repackaged Tastee Snacks in a variety of flavours; the new addition to the I-CEE brand – Mango and Pear, and D’Aguiar’s Moscato and Port wines.
