A 45-year-old businessman of Bartica, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) was arrested after an unlicensed .32 pistol was found on his person during a search by the Police at Falls Top, Bartica on Wednesday around 23:00h.
Police, in a statement, said that acting on information received, they went to a shop and conducted a search on the suspect which uncovered the pistol in his possession.
The suspect is being processed for court.
