Bartica Football Assn league: Wolves United reach double figures in points table

Wolves United FC took on Agatash United FC at the Bartica Community Centre ground last Monday, and dominated the game by playing positive and confident football throughout the encounter. Wolves managed to keep the ball in their possession, and created countless goal attempts.
The Agatash team managed to clear and nullify some of the wonderful skills displayed by the Wolves, but that didn’t stop “the boys in white” from continually hunting for goals.
The deadlock was broken by a cracking free-kick shot from the Wolves centre back Shain Rahaman. This unlocked a steady stream of goals, with a double coming from Rowen Lyken and a well-deserved hat-trick coming from the Striker Darren Troyer.
A consolation goal was scored by Agatash, but already having six on the board, the Wolves were untroubled by that development.
The game ended 6-1, placing Wolves United on 10 points after 7 games.
Action in this league will continue today with Beacons and Mil Ballers colliding for supremacy, and Rivers View attempting to discipline the Rising Stars.
