Belle West man slapped with 4 counts of rape

A Belle West, Canal Number Two Polder, West Demerara resident was on Tuesday slapped with four counts of rape and appeared at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court.
Stepheon Phillips, 42, appeared before Magistrate Zamina Ally-Seepaul accused of raping a child under the age of 16.
The particulars of the case were not presented, but Phillips was remanded to prison. The case will continue on February 28, 2019 at the Wales Magistrate’s Court.
