Berbice’s Under-13 cricket team, in spite of a loss on Tuesday, held their nerve to secure the championship in the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Under-13 Inter-County tournament.
Berbice’s, Essequibo’s, and Demerara’s teams all finished the tournament on four points each, with their net run rate making the difference between the three. While Berbice were champions, Essequibo ended the competition as runners-up.
