Blue Water Shipping Girls’ Under-15 National Championship: Marian Academy retain Georgetown “North” title, advance to National Final

Marian Academy successfully defended their Georgetown North title in the Blue Water Shipping Girls’ Under-15 National Championship after finishing level with Chase’s Academic Foundation in their regional decider at the National Training Centre.

With the match ending in a draw, the championship was decided on goal difference. Marian Academy secured the regional crown by virtue of having scored more goals throughout the competition while maintaining a stronger overall goal record than their rivals.
The result ensured that Marian Academy retained its status as Georgetown North champions and earned qualification for the final of the Blue Water Shipping Girls’ U15 National Championship.
The Georgetown North champions will now shift their focus to the national final, where they will have the opportunity to compete for the overall championship title against the best teams from across the country.
