Budhram’s 5-wicket haul, Tilku’s unbeaten 70 power LBI to victory

La Bonne Intention (LBI) Cricket Club produced a strong all-round performance to secure a two-wicket victory over Enmore in the East Coast Cricket Board (ECCB)/Navens Construction First Division 50-Over Competition at Enmore.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Enmore were dismissed for 232, with V Wilkinson and D Mangal leading the batting effort with half-centuries.
Wilkinson top-scored with 53, while Mangal made a valuable 52 as the Enmore batting line-up struggled to build partnerships against a disciplined LBI bowling attack.
National Under-19 off-spinner Joshua Budhram was the standout bowler for LBI, producing an excellent spell to claim five wickets for 31 runs from nine overs. His five-wicket haul played a major role in restricting Enmore to a manageable total.

With the match finely poised, Ariel Tilku produced a crucial unbeaten 70 to guide LBI over the line and secure the two-wicket victory.
Budhram’s incisive bowling effort, combined with valuable contributions throughout the batting order, ensured LBI completed a successful chase and strengthened their campaign in the ECCB First-Division competition.
