Buxton United continued their impressive run in the East Demerara leg of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power national under-17 league when they inflicted a 6-0 hammering over a hapless Victoria Kings side at the Melanie Ground, East Coast Demerara, on Sunday.
Isaiah Anderson   began the route when he netted in the 19th minute, three minutes after, Kobe Durant continued   his goal scoring form by hitting the back of net then once more in the 27th. Anderson returned to record his double with a goal in the 33rd to end the first half 4-0.  An own goal by Dexroy Culpeper put united ahead  by five in the 53rd  after which Ronaldo Fedricks  placed the final  nail in the coffin in the 85th.
In the other match, Buxton stars eased to 3-0 win over Buxton Youth Developers by virtue of goals from Akeem Broome in the 30th, Clensford Osbourne (45th) and Collin wills (90th).

Over at Den Amstell in the West Demerara Football Association, Eagles FC won without having to break a sweat by virtue of a walkover from Wales.
On Saturday, Bachelor’s Adventure and Paradise Sports Club combined and Plaisance defeated Beterverwagting /Triumph United and Golden Grove respectively.  The combined Bachelor’s Adventure and Paradise Sports Club team defeated BV/Triumph United 3-1.
Ronaldo Morgan opened the scoring for the winners with a 10th minute strike while Tishawn Gordon doubled their lead in the 65th minute. Jerome Robinson netted for BV/Triumph in the 75th minute but the outcome was sealed 10 minutes later when Gordon scored his second goal.  Meanwhile, Plaisance edged Golden Grove 2-1 at the Grove Community ground while Diamond United and Grove Hi-Tech secured wins without breaking a sweat after receiving walkovers from Soesdyke Falcons and Herstelling Raiders respectively.
