The Guyana Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for 29-year-old Llamont Orin Beveney. He is wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Aylwyn Eastman.

Beveney’s last known address is Lot 149 Beterverwagting Access Road, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
It was reported that on August 29, 2021, Eastman and his cousin were walking along the Beterverwagting Access Road when they were approached by the suspect. Police have said a heated exchange erupted between Eastman and the 29-year-old suspect, which resulted in a scuffle.
According to Police, during the scuffle, the suspect fell into a trench, but eventually crawled out, and ran behind Eastman, whipped out a knife and stabbed the man twice to the chest and abdomen.

Eastman was picked up in a conscious state and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The two men, Police have said, were friends, and had been known to each other for quite some time.
