Port Mourant Cricket Club duo Demetri Cameron and Madhan Budhram wreaked havoc against Skeldon Cricket Club in the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) 50-overs first division tournament on Saturday.
Playing at Port Mourant, Cameron, a former Guyana Harpy Eagles fast-bowler claimed 5-33 but Budhram was equally impressive with 5-12 as Port Mourant secured victory by 80 runs. It was a low-scoring affair as Port Mourant posted 132 all out in 23.2 overs batting first.
National youth opener Rampersaud Ramnauth scored 34 while Joshua Ramsammy made 19.
Mahendra Chaitnarine was the standout bowler with 5-40 from eight overs. Adil Ali had 2-31.
Skeldon had now answers for the dynamic duo of Budhram and Cameron as the visitors innings lasted only 13.2 overs. They were bowled out for 52 runs giving Port Mourant more dominance in Berbice cricket.
