Canadian High Commission to host Virtual EduCanada Fair

The Canadian High Commission in Guyana is hosting its annual #EduCanada Caribbean Virtual Fair on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Canadian High Commissioner to Guyana, Mark Berman

This year, the EduCanada Fair will offer visitors the opportunity to meet representatives from Canadian institutions, learn about the Canadian education system, and get the most up-to-date information on visas and study permit applications.
Canada is among the top destinations of choice by international students for pursuing their education.  In 2019, over 640,000 international students chose to pursue their education in Canada.
Representatives from 29 Canadian universities and colleges will showcase their virtual booths at the fair and interact virtually with students, parents, guidance counsellors and other education stakeholders. Through webinars, they will provide information about the programmes they offer, admission requirements, the application processes and scholarship information. There will also be a session from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on applying for study permits and visas.
When attendees log into the EduCanada Virtual Fair website,
https://educanadacaribbeanfair.vfairs.com/, they will be able to search institutions by name, type of programmes or courses, and location. Just like a physical event, attendees can then visit the “booth” of each educational institution to see more information and chat directly with their representatives – virtually! You can directly connect with your institution of choice through audio and video calls.
