CBB first overcame Vanguard Volleyball Club (VC) in a four-set battle on Wednesday, recovering from a 25–22 opening-set defeat to take the remaining three sets 25–18, 25–13 and 25–21.
Vanguard made a better start, but CBB responded strongly and gradually took control of the contest. Their improved attacking play and consistency allowed them to level the match before dominating the third set and completing the comeback in the fourth.
On Tuesday evening action in the DVA League, CBB produced an even more convincing performance, sweeping Castrol Strikers 3–0.
The opening set proved the closest of the contest, with CBB edging Castrol Strikers 25–23. They then pulled away in the second set, winning 25–15, before closing out the match 25–18 in the third.
The two victories underline CBB’s growing momentum in the DVA Men’s League, with the team displaying both resilience and consistency across its recent fixtures.
The league continues at the CASH, with teams vying for supremacy as the competition progresses.
