A child has drowned and other persons reportedly injured after a boat capsized in the Mazaruni Region Seven, (Cuyuni-Mazaruni).

Dead is John Albert called “Chino” of Waramadong Village, Upper Mazaruni.
The child travelling with a missionary team when the mishap occurred on Thursday. (More details in Sunday’s edition)
