The place to be on Saturday is D’Urban Park for the ‘Guyana Christmas Fest 2018 – tidings of comfort and joy’. It will be a day full of excitement, not only for the kids but also the adults. During the event, there will be a deejay soundclash where the winners will receive trophies and other prizes, compliments of Regium International Inc.
For the kids, there will be lots of games and activities to keep them occupied. These include 1-2-3 Red Light, bouncy castle, dog and bone, and many others.
There will also be free food, gifts and drinks for the children who are under 12 years old. In addition, there will be Santa Claus and his helpers along with Mrs Claus.
However, as it gets dark, all eyes will be on the stage for one of the most energetic Christmas concerts with some of the best gospel artistes performing. These include the anointed Vale, Kester D, Shauna Parker, Saiku and Gospel Chutney singer Anil Azeez among others.
Also at the event, there will be the launch of “I-Can Flair”. Admission to the event is free of cost.
