CIC Insurance Brokers (Guyana) Inc has partnered with the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) for its upcoming T10 Fundraiser Tournament, which is scheduled for November 22 at the LBI Ground.
The tournament will feature eight franchise teams battling for a first-place prize of $1 million, while also helping the DCB raise funds to support the continued growth and development of cricket across Demerara.
The partnership was formally announced during a presentation ceremony at CIC Insurance Brokers’ Lot A52, Barima Avenue, Bel Air Park, Georgetown location.
During the presentation, CIC Insurance Brokers General Manager Preneta Bharosay handed over the company’s financial contribution to DCB Secretary Davteerth Anandjit.
Bharosay said the company’s support for the tournament reflects its commitment to community development and initiatives that encourage resilience, teamwork and community pride.
CIC Insurance Brokers is an insurance broking and risk management firm which also provides claims advocacy services.
The DCB welcomed the company as a partner and expressed confidence that the tournament will provide an entertaining day of cricket while promoting unity and contributing to the development of the sport.
The presentation ceremony was also attended by Surendra Hiralal and Jiadavi Mohan.
