City Constabulary Chief Peter Livingstone passes on

Chief Constable of the City Constabulary, Peter Livingstone died on Tuesday evening at the St Joseph Mercy Hospital, in Georgetown, after a brief illness.

Mayor of Georgetown, Ubraj Narine in a statement expressed regrets at the passing of Chief Constable Livingstone.
“I am deeply saddened by his passing and extend comfort to his family at this time…”, he said.
Chief Constable Livingstone served the Council with distinction and executed his duties with diligence and commitment, according to the Mayor and the City Council.
Following his passing, scores of persons took to social media to express their sadness and their condolences to his family.
“My sincere condolences to the Mayor and City Council and employees, the family, relatives, and friends of the late Peter Livingstone who has gone home to the Lord. Rest In Peace Bro,” one post stated.
“I can’t believe you’re gone…. what just happened? Peter Livingstone! Please someone tell me this is not true…My dear family this hurts, God please send your comforting spirit right now over each of us,” another person expressed.
“I am saddened by the passing of Mr. Peter Livingstone… Mr. Livingstone was a symbol of hope within the community of Parfaite Harmonie and a political stalwart in his own right. I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Livingstone on many occasions such as the Local Government, National, and Regional Elections where he would have supported me as a young budding politician”
“His advice to me, will not go on unheard nor his actions unseen. On behalf of the people of Constituency 7 and extension the community of Parfaite Harmonie, we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones,” Councillor Denzel St Hill related.
Meanwhile, the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) in a social media post also extended its deepest sympathy to the family, relatives, and friends of Livingstone.
