As part of a ‘Staff Lottery Fund’ initiative, the Cheddi Jagan International Airport Corporation (CJIAC) once again awarded a staff member who is the winner for the month of May.
Melinie Ramgolan, an Aviation Security Officer, who has been working with the Cheddi Jagan International Airport Corporation for over two years, is the May Lottery Fund winner.
Ramgolan received ,000 from the Deputy Head, CEO Secretariat (ag), Ishwari Glasgow on Thursday, June 30.

The staff lottery is an initiative of CJIAC’s Board of Directors to inspire a continued high level of professionalism. Since January 2016, seven of the eight Directors have contributed their stipends to the Fund.
To be eligible for the lottery, employees must be permanent staff; earn a basic salary less than $100,000 per month and have no written or pending action three months prior to draw.
Winners will only be allowed to benefit from the lottery once per year; previous winners’ names will be removed from the eligibility list until the process recommences the next calendar year.
