Cop robbed of 2 motorcycles while asleep

A Police sergeant is now counting his losses after someone allegedly went to his yard while he was asleep and made off with his two motorcycles.
The sergeant’s motorcycles were stolen from his Crane, West Coast Demerara (WCD) home at sometime between Monday and Tuesday.
According to the Police, the sergeant told investigators that the motorcycles were seen in the yard at about 20:00h on Monday. However, on Tuesday morning, checks were made for the motorcycles, but they were nowhere to be found. A report was then made made to the Police and an investigation was launched.
The motorcycles are valued at some $489,000.
Only a few days ago, a Police rank was attacked and robbed of his motorcycle along the Tuschen Public Road, East Bank Essequibo (EBE), while he was heading home.
The 22-year-old rank, of Tuschen New Housing Scheme, EBE, was riding his motorcycle, and while in the vicinity of Light Street, Tuschen, he was attacked by two males as he approached a speed bump.
One of the men reportedly pulled out a knife and ordered the Police rank off his bike, a black CB 1 Honda, while the other man, who was unarmed, picked up a piece of wood and advanced towards the cop.
Out of fear for his life, the cop jumped off the motorcycle, and the two suspects then jumped on the motorcycle and made good their escape. (G9)
