Pressie just proved the adage – if it ever needed to be proven! – that “you can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy”!! Your Eyewitness is referring, of course, to Sanction Man’s “revelation” of Pressie’s ownership of a farm off the Linden Highway!! So, what’s wrong about Pressie owning a farm?? Didn’t we all grow up knowing that “Old Macdonald had a farm” – and on the farm were all sorts of farm animals like cows that went “moo moo” and ducks that went “quack quack” etc??!! And has Pressie ever failed to boast about his mother’s origins in Leguan – where farming was the main activity and where he spent countless boyhood hours??
But of course, Sanction Man wasn’t interested in Pressie’s interest in going back to his rural roots – unlike him who never mentioned visiting his Sanctioned Daady’s Essequibo Coast village!! THAT didn’t go with his carefully curated designer outfits and GRA-underdeclared Lambos and Rolls that were meant to boost his slack ego!! We’ve all heard about what owning big cars are supposed to be compensating for, haven’t we??!! Naah…Sanction Man claims that Pressie’s acquisition of the 150-acre plot of virgin land along the Linden Highway – and raising cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, along with high-tech hydroponic farming etc – was somehow part of some ill-gotten gains scheme. Sorta like he and his Daady’s gold smuggling scheme that resulted in the US OFAC sanctions!!
What can you say?? Sanction Man clearly can’t believe that someone on Pressie’s position would invest in something so mundane and risky like farming!! Everything on a farm takes time to create a return – which ain’t guaranteed since so many things like foot-and-mouth disease etc can wreck havoc with the investment!! And more to the point to paint Pressie’s bamsie with doo-doo from his own, he claimed Pressie got everything by abusing his Presidential position!!
Within hours, however, Pressie revealed he’s acquired the land loooong before he became President – and developed it through loans!! And furthermore, that he’d declared the farm and its operations to the Integrity Commission – as required by law of Public Officials!! Pressie also revealed the rationale for the hullabaloo – he’d received texts from Sanction Man’s Daady demanding he call off the ongoing extradition proceedings – or else they’d reveal the info on the farm!!
Well, with Pressie’s response, your Eyewitness is quite interested as to what’s gonna be the next increasingly desperate measures Sanction Man and his Daady gonna resort to – so’s not be fitted for orange jump-suits in Miami!!
Maybe they can become state witnesses against Mad Maduro – as head of the Cartel de los Solos – on trading blood gold smuggled from Venezuela!!

It’s over four years since Russia launched its Special Military Operation – now a “war” they insisted! – against Ukraine!! Your Eyewitness must confess he’d thought it was gonna be a walkover – with the Ruskies rolling over the Ukrainians!! But in politics, you gotta be careful about making very precise predictions. After all, we can NEVER know all the variables where human beings are concerned, can we?!!
The main variable was we never gave enough credence to was the Russian goal to secure strategic depth – lost by surrounding former provinces joining NATO!! They didn’t want to kill too many civilians in eastern Ukraine – which they wanted to integrate into Greater Russia!! But most importantly their traditional mode of fighting – throwing overwhelming force against the enemy on all fronts and grind them down!! – didn’t count on the Ukrainians focusing on drone warfare!! Over 500,000 Ruskies have died to at most 210,000 Ukrainians!!
Your Eyewitness don’t see how Russia won’t prevail – but wouldn’t it be a Pyrrhic victory??
