Crucial matches on tonight

Divine Entertainment Summer Super Cup…

Friday night’s no results the Divine Entertainment’s Summer Super Cup twelve team football championship means that tonight’s (Sunday) double header may decide which clubs are likely to reach the semifinals from the three team, four group play, following the 0-0 drawn game between Milerock and Silver Shattas in Group D and the 2-2 stalemate in Group B between are Blueberry Hill United and Amelia’s Ward Panther at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground.
The Silver Shattas playing their first game failed to score when they faced Milerock who ended their campaign with another draw this time, scoreless against the Shattas.
The other game Friday night was also without a winner when Blueberry Hill playing their first of two games held on to drawn their game 2-2 against the Ward Panthers through a 94th + 4th minute strike by Montel Dainty.
Blueberry Hill had grabbed the lead in the 9th minute through Troy Miller before the Ward Panthers knotted things up one minute before the first half ended 1-1 when Delon Luke scored. But Kevin Charles would send the Panthers ahead in the 59th minute through Kevin Charles before that late equaliser by Dainty.
The first game tonight will bring together Topp XX who face Coomacka in a Group A clash. It is Coomacka’s first of two games and they would be looking to win since Topp XX, who lost to Eagles United 2-1, must win to have hopes of meeting the next round.
Game two tonight is also a critical Group C game. Haynes and Winners Connection is coming int this game knowing they must win to stand a good chance of moving to the final four.
Their opponents Hi Stars are aware of this, as that game between Winners Connection and Capital FC ended 1-1, and they (Hi Stars) could spell doom for the Winners Connection with a win. Hi Stars know also that a good result would see the likely clash with Capital FC being the deciding game of their group play.
