At the Albion Sports Complex, Berbice Under-13 registered a comfortable eight-wicket victory over the GCB Select XI.
The GCB Select XI won the toss and elected to bat but endured a disappointing outing, being bowled out for just 44 in 15 overs. No batter managed to reach double figures as the Berbice bowlers dominated.
Nitan Manna, Aryan Ali, and Omar Ragubar were the chief destroyers, claiming three wickets apiece.
Berbice then made light work of the modest target, reaching 45 for two in 7.4 overs. Manna remained unbeaten on 14 from 28 deliveries, while Summit Samaroo finished unbeaten on 11 to guide Berbice to victory.
At the Lusignan-Bellefield-Isaac (LBI) ground, Demerara Under-13 also secured a six-wicket victory over Essequibo Under-13.
